25.07.13 TOM KOMÁREK, 1980-2013
It is with profound sadness and shock that Sour Jazz has learned of the tragic passing of Tom Komárek last week, aged 33. Tom was a staunch supporter of Sour Jazz and wrote about the band generously in the pages of Rock & Pop Magazine out of Prague. His passion for music shone brightly, and his enthusiasm never faltered. His own band, Secret 9 Beat, recorded two albums – the self-titled debut, and “Hate Songs from Dead City,” both produced by Phil Shoenfelt. Na zdraví, Tom, you've gone far too soon.
